The Planning Commission is comprised of seven members who are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council.
Duties of the Commission include but are not limited to the following: review of WMC Title 16 Land Development Code undertake a general review of the comprehensive plan and make recommendations for amendment; to review all proposed rezoning requests; to hear and decide all permit applications that require a public hearing; to hear and decide appeals of permit decisions; and to investigate capital improvement programs.
