A.C. (Buzz) Buswell, IIISeat B
A.C. "Buzz" Buswell was elected to the City Council in October 2012. Prior to being elected as a City Council Member, he served on Wasilla Planning Commission from June 2006 to October 2012. During his tenure on the commission he served as chairman from 2010 to 2012.
He is the grandson of replacement colonist Bob Klem (Mother Mollie Klem.) He attended 5th Grade at Palmer Central and graduated from Chugiak High School 1969. He and his family moved to Wasilla 1989.
In 1975 he established a construction company and has specialized in electrical construction for 12 years. Mr. Buswell has been married for 40 years. He and his wife have seven children that have all graduated from the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District; all currently still live in the Borough. He has eight grandchildren, three attending valley schools.
Term information: Council Member Buswell was elected to the Wasilla City Council, Seat B, during the October 2, 2012, Regular City Election.
