Development

One of Wasilla’s greatest assets is, simply put, space. Located at the junction of major highway and rail connections, and surrounded by acres of affordable, developable land, Wasilla and the Mat-Su Valley are strategically positioned for further commercial and residential growth. By contrast, because of its location between the Chugach Mountains and Cook Inlet, Anchorage is increasingly constrained in its capacity for expansion.

Wasilla is focused on the needs of its current residents while planning for the future.
